One of my favorite things about being a Hawaii destination wedding photographer is seeing what couples plan for their day. Destination weddings focus on what is important to the couple, and every couple is different. For Mariela and Nathan, they wanted to splurge on the details while creating a fun experience for their guests. They did a fantastic job at both!
The sophisticated ceremony and reception details had beautiful splashes of color. Their reception tent featured hanging chandelier gold place settings. Each place settings had a personalized gold name plate for the guests. Did I mention this was all beach side? It was stunning!
Mariela and Nathan wanted an epic backdrop for their couples portraits, so I took them down the road to one of my favorite beaches in Laie. They were so adorable walking along the beach, sharing special moments, and adventuring up a gorgeous cliff. When we got back to the reception, we were greeted by a mariachi band, and the biggest bottle of tequila I have ever seen. Seriously, you have to check it out!
