I’m a believer that your workspace should inspire you. Even if you don’t have a designated home office, you should still create an area that you love being in. I’ve been working from home for most of my photography career. Over the years I’ve worked from my bed, the kitchen, the living room, coffee shops, airport lounges, RVs, you name a place and I’ve probably made it my temporary office at some point. But the most productive workspace I’ve ever had is my home office here in Hawaii.
My office is now a mix of things from my previous home office and my old living room since my fiancé and I moved in together. So it kind of doubles as my personal living room. When I’m finished with work, I will usually hang out to play a few games on my PlayStation. If you think I’m leaving my fiancé out, don’t feel too bad for him. We often play online together!
I wanted this to be my favorite room in the house since I spend the most time here. I love minimal decor, so everything has a meaning and a place. I’m also a big fan of tropical pieces, local artists, and you’ll notice a lot of pink and blue accents. I went ahead and provided to links to items that I get asked about often. If you don’t see a link to something, let me know and I will try to track it down for you!
My fav kind of book: Business, sci-fi and thrillers. You can shop some of my favorites here. Also Reese Witherspoon’s book club recommendations are 🔥🔥
“Have you seen her painting, Jim? The building? There are shadows coming from two directions. What!? Are there two suns? Uhh, last I checked that’s not an office building in the Andromeda galaxy. It’s totally unrealistic! There’s no lines in the parking lot.”
I can not for the liiiiiife of me find a link for this flamingo print. It was a solid find at TJMaxx, that’s the best I can offer!

And finally, meet my assistant, Peter the Pug! He’s the CEO of cuddles (and procrastination).
