Erika and Nick had a life long love story that lead to their Hawaii adventure wedding. They were just 10 years old when they met at school. They were paired together in class for an “icebreaker” exercise to interview each other. Erika said she was secretly hoping she would be paired up with Nick, and Nick said he was a little nervous because she was a girl. Fast forward 20 years, and they were saying “I do” on the side of a mountain in Hawaii!
Erika and Nick originally planned a trip to Hawaii for 2020, but for obvious reasons had to be cancelled. Little did Erika know, Nick planned to propose while visiting. Instead he made the proposal super special with a hike at home, and they used their travel credits to elope in Hawaii. Hiking for their Hawaii adventure wedding only made sense. I loved how everything came full circle for them!
