Danielle and Andrew are an awesome couple with such a cute love story, I’m not even sure where to begin, so I’ll just pick my favorite part: the proposal.
Andrew planned on popping the question during a ski trip in Colorado. He planned on asking her at the top of Copper Mountain while taking in the gorgeous view, great idea right? At the top of the ski lift, Andrew started pulling out the ring when he looked up to see Danielle out of control and flying down the slopes (did I mention this was their first time to ever ski/snowboard?!) Being the wonderful gentleman he is, Andrew rushed after her but in his heroic efforts, he crashed into a tree. He decided that probably wasn’t the best time ask his future bride for her hand in marriage, but it does make a fantastic story as we were all cracking up when they told me about the proposal.
While Danielle and Andrew live in Missouri, Andrew is originally from Hawaii and has family on Oahu. They decided to have an intimate beachside wedding so that his family could all be there with Danielle’s family, and their closest friends. Turtle Bay Resort was the perfect location for their laid back, elegant ceremony and their super fun reception. The bridal party kicked off the reception with a dance off, and the fun never ended! Andrew’s cousin even surprised everyone with a beautiful hula dance which literally brought tears to my eyes. This was a fantastic day and couldn’t have been possible without the help of all the amazing vendors:
