In the middle of my babymoon session with Ashley and Logan, a small but gorgeous rainbow came out. We all got SO excited, but they were absolutely over the moon, more than I’ve ever seen anyone during a session. They stopped to tell me, baby Jack is a rainbow baby. Ashley went on to explain that a rainbow baby is a baby that you have after a miscarriage. A true sign of joy after sorrow, the sunshine after the rain – the rainbow during our session was absolutely perfect. I still get chills when I think about the sheer joy on their faces when they saw the rainbow in the sky and the smiles they had during the entire session. I’ve never seen two people more excited about the birth of their baby – seriously they were grinning from ear to ear. Come to find out, Jack is actually a double rainbow baby – Ashley and Logan endured the pain that comes along with not only one but two miscarriages, but they still had hope and have recently welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby boy into the world. Ashley said she was happy to share their story, so that anyone who is experiencing a similar situation will “know that there’s hope and healing and love, even after loss.” Are you crying or is it just me??
