Ahhh, long distance. Anyone who’s ever done it knows it’s a B. Becca and Sumner are all too familiar with it, and were doing long distance for 2 years and 8 months. To finally bring an end to the distance, Becca moved to Hawaii where Sumner is stationed, and Sumner put a ring on it (smart man)! Sumner took Becca to Makapuu Lookout where I was trying to be sneaky to capture the proposal. Once she said yes, I went over to congratulate them when Becca told me she knew the proposal was coming soon and had picked me out as her favorite photographer in Hawaii – as if I wasn’t already on the verge of tears!! I gave the two a moment to celebrate the engagement and let Becca gather herself (there’s always some tears with the proposals!) we adventured around Makapuu in the mountain and on the beach. I absolutely adore these two, they are so full of love and adventure, and I can’t wait to hang with them again!
