I first met Monika and Rob through a mutual friend. They were visiting Oahu from LA, and I very vividly remember Monika telling me, “We’re moving to Hawaii.” As a resident of Hawaii, I hear this all. the. time. But I quickly learned, Monika does what she says. It wasn’t long before they packed up and moved their life to Kona and became my Big Island ohana.
Monika and Rob are amazing friends, and amazing together. When I first went to visit them on the Big Island, they were working their asses off. They had big plans for their future in Hawaii! Every time I would go to visit, they had more good news for me. One time it was Rob telling me he was planning to propose. The next visit they were working on opening their yoga studio, The Yoga Nest , talk about couples goals. The life they have built together in Hawaii is something out of a movie, and getting to see all of their hard work, aspirations, and love for each other manifest into reality at their beautiful Holualoa Inn wedding was nothing short of incredible.
While I did attend the wedding as a guest, they asked me to be there early to capture their first look and their rowdy wedding party. Enjoy my favorites from their Holualoa Inn wedding!
