During Matt’s vows to Stephanie, he talked about how traditional was never for him. He didn’t want to fit inside of a box. He was okay with the idea of being single forever if he never found his match. Then, he met Stephanie. The perfect girl who let him 100% be himself, 100% out of the box. And he vowed to do the same for her.
Stephanie and Matt’s wedding day was anything but traditional. They barely told anyone they were going to Hawaii, let alone that they were going to get married! Everyone knows I love a good old fashioned elopement! Another added bonus to this was that I actually knew Stephanie growing up. We went to the same high school in Texas, and I’ve kept up with her on social media since graduation. I’ve even watched her grow her own event business in Texas. So I was beyond thrilled when she asked me to be the one to capture this moment for them. I was tearing up as I watched these two people who are so perfect for each other say “I do” in one of the prettiest places on earth, and they did it on their terms.
