How long have you been in business? How did you get started in the wedding industry here in Hawaii?
I have been in the beauty industry for years, really since I was a teenager. With a career in modeling at 14, I quickly fell in love with traveling and the back side of the industry more than being on camera. I was also coloring and styling my family’s hair as a teen. After becoming licensed my journey of finding my niche began. I loved styling and loved Hawaii’s wedding scene. Reveal was born 5 years ago in efforts to find a way to work together with other experienced stylists and give peace of mind to those getting married that we really have amazing makeup artists and hair stylists here in Hawaii! The best part about this is our team is all experienced at their skills before coming into Reveal.
I’ve seen you guys crush it at weddings of all kinds! What would you say your speciality is?
Our specialty is handling a diverse group of any size. In style and ethnicity we really have experience in it all. With our growing team of timeline obsessed beauty experts we really love being able to take on any size wedding. We also love working the schedule out to add on last minute ladies who want in on the fun, or a mom who is down the way getting ready in a separate room or house. We can divide our our group leaving the bride’s day a little more relaxing.
A lot of our clients say we are the best at actually having their makeup look or feel natural and their hair last. I feel this comes from our teams ability to really listen to our clients.

What is your favorite part of your job?
We all love finding out how our couples met each other! Especially when it is a different story then they told their parents!
What’s your favorite kind of wedding day and why?
Our favorite weddings are definitely the last minute ones. When the bride calls a day or week before saying “we just decided to get married and we are hoping you can take us?” They have such a rush and really feel beautiful! I think it has more excitement and less nerves.
What is a piece of advice you love to give brides to help them with preparing for their big day?
The best prep for a bride is to hydrate! This will make you feel better on all levels. The days before the wedding can be so hectic so taking care of yourself with sleep and water will have you glowing!
