Elopement Officiant Oahu | Officiating as your photog

Did you know I have a few officiant add-on options for your elopement photography? One of them being me as your officiant! The most common question I get about this add-on is:

“How do you officiate our elopement and take photos?”

This is a great question! Here’s the deal: When you have me as your officiant, it’s super low key and laid-back. I’m more or less just there to make it official for you. This means I secure the necessary permits to have your wedding, I assist you with getting your marriage license, and I make it official for you! I always say a few sweet words and then guide you to exchange vows while I step back and photograph the moment.

This is a great option for you if you want something super simple. Most couples who hike love this option. If you want an officiant to perform a more “traditional” ceremony, then I have officiants on my team or recommendations if you are looking for something in particular that we don’t offer.

What do you need to get married in Hawaii?

An officiant is required to make things legal in the state of Hawaii, but it isn’t difficult to get your license! When you add-on officiating with me or with one of my team members, I guide you through the process. You can read more about it here!
