It was a gorgeous evening for Megan and Tyler’s Coronado Beach elopement! Coronado is less than 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, easily accessible via a 200 ft. bridge featuring one of the best views of the city! The picturesque oceanfront community and the famous Hotel del Coronado make it an iconic location. Megan and Tyler chose to have their ceremony in the dunes, which spells out “Coronado Beach” from an aerial view. The dunes provide a bit of privacy and a unique landscape. The ceremony was very intimate with only their family and a few close friends by their side. After their ceremony, we ventured down to the beach where we got to see an incredible sunset!

How to Elope at Coronado Beach
You need a marriage license and any applicable permits to get married at Coronado Beach. You can easily apply for a San Diego marriage license online. The license is valid for up to 90 days. Many parts of Coronado Beach don’t require any permits if there are no more than 20 guests and no set up of arches, chairs, or other decorations. I am happy to help guide you through the process of obtaining your marriage license and permits, as well as complete your day with my list of preferred vendors!
