Orange County Elopement | Nick + Olivia

Elopements

November 19, 2025

Nick and Olivia’s Orange County elopement was everything that makes elopements so special! It was intentional, relaxed, and full of meaning. They traded the stress of a big wedding day for a simple celebration focused entirely on each other, in one of the most beautiful coastal spots in Southern California: Laguna Beach.

Getting Ready Together at The Ranch in Laguna Beach

Nick and Olivia started the day at The Ranch in Laguna Beach, a cute hotel surrounded by palm trees and canyon views. It was the perfect location, just minutes from their ceremony spot. Instead of getting ready separately, they chose to share a slow morning in their hotel room, soaking in all the excitement side by side.

One of the best parts about eloping is having the freedom to throw out the “rules” of a traditional wedding day. Most couples spend the majority of their wedding day apart, waiting to see each other at the ceremony. But eloping allows you to be together for every moment to calm each other’s nerves and laugh through the getting-ready chaos. It also makes for some fun photo opportunities you wouldn’t get otherwise!

A Private First Look and Sunset Ceremony

Once they were ready, Nick and Olivia shared a quiet first look on the patio outside their hotel room. It was an emotional, joy-filled moment and the perfect start to their elopement adventure.

Their good friend Nick (“other Nick,” as we affectionately called him) got ordained to marry them. It mad the ceremony even more personal. Together, we headed down to the beach for their intimate vows as the sun began to set. The soft golden light, gentle waves, and laughter between friends made the evening feel effortless and unforgettable.

Why They Chose to Elope in Orange County

Nick and Olivia love to travel and it’s one of their favorite things to do together. So getting married somewhere they had visited before and fallen in love with was an easy decision. Laguna Beach offered everything they wanted: stunning scenery, a laid-back energy, and the freedom to create a day that didn’t follow traditional expectations.

Since no family was joining them, they wanted their photos to tell the full story of their day, from getting ready at The Ranch through their sunset beach ceremony. Every part of their elopement reflected their adventurous and easy-going relationship.
