I am so excited to tell you about them! I can’t believe how long it has taken me to blog these (I’m working really hard to catch up on all of my blogs, I swear!) because I absolutely was over the moon with this session.

So, Dylan contacted me because he had the awesome idea to have a photographer capture his proposal to his beautiful girlfriend, Kristyna. They had planned to do a photo shoot together on a different trip, but it was canceled due to bad weather. Scheduling a session to make up for it wasn’t too far fetched, and Dylan told me Kristyna was so excited to get to finally get to take portraits that she almost cried! I was like well dang, wait until she sees what you really you have planned!!

Dylan had a very specific vision in mind for the lighting at Lanikai that day, so we were all up at the crack of dawn to make his dream proposal come to life and I have to say, the lighting did not disappoint! We warmed up with a few photos and then it was time for the big “cue” I told them I wanted to do the famous Instagram “follow me” pose where Kristyna would have her hand back for Dylan to hold, and that’s when he took the ring out and got down on one knee. When she turned around she said, “what!” and then SHE SAID YES!

This alone is SO exciting and makes me SO happy, but I have THE best clients and I have some exciting news to share if you haven’t heard…. I am going to get to photograph their wedding day next year in PORTLAND! Just a few months ago I decided to make it a goal to start booking on the mainland and I am just so so honored and excited that they want to fly me out to capture their big day for them. I have no other words, so I will let these photos speak for themselves!!
