My first photo session with Darian was back in 2016, and I remember talking about her about her boyfriend, Blake. She was gushing about him, how they were both military and had been doing long distance since they met, but that everything was going awesome. Flash forward to a year later and she emails me.. they were engaged!! I was so excited to photograph their engagement photos on Oahu and to be there to document their beautiful wedding in Waikiki. They said their I Do’s in the Hilton Hawaiian Village Chapel which is absolutely stunning. Most of my Hawaii weddings are outdoors, so this was a treat. The tall windows let in a lot of natural light, and their green and white floral arrangements looked stunning inside. After the ceremony, we found a secluded part of the beach and had a beautiful sunset. My personal favorite part of the day was their first look outside of the chapel. Blake a tap on the shoulder, watching her come down was like a fairytale! They’re relocating so southern California where I also travel to frequently, and we’ve already talked about our next photo session, so I can’t wait to see them in their new home!
