Technically Emily and Jerry weren’t eloping in Hawaii, but they were having a private ceremony with their family, and wanted some killer beach photos. The morning was absolutely stunning, but right before we met it started pouring rain. I kept telling them it would be okay, and that we would most likely get an amazing sunset. Guys. Guess what! We did! It was a stunning pastel pink sky, and these two nailed it!
Eloping in Hawaii means having a day that is 100% about you and and your best friend, and making it however you want it to be. Emily and Jerry wanted something simple, something fun, and then wanted to splurge on the good stuff like a gorgeous dress and some awesome photos, if I do say so myself! We headed to one of my favorite secluded beaches on the north shore and guys.. I am still not over the sunset we had. Talk about stunning! While Emily had every right to be worried about the rain, she was super calm and we were prepared to do the session in the rain and make the most of the day. Luckily the sky cleared right when we started shooting, and it stayed that way right until the sunset. Take a look at all of my favorites below!
