Royal Hawaiian Wedding | Karen + Shane
Karen and Shane’s story started with a right swipe on Bumble in Rhode Island. Shane was stationed in Hawaii at the time, but fait sent him to Rhode Island for training. They knew that with the distance it was a long shot (we are talking thousands of miles here, people!) but they made it work! After a year of meeting up in different states for vacations and to get to know each other, she knew he was the one! She took a job in Hawaii and the rest is history!
They were so adorable on their wedding day! I met Karen at The Royal Hawaiian for her getting ready photos. This was a dream location of mine – I’m (obviously) obsessed with the color pink, and love love love all the greenery around the venue. We did their first look right outside of the hotel, and then went to their ceremony site. We ended the day with portraits at a nearby beach. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Karen was laughing so hard she snorted, and Shane had the biggest smile on his face! Take a look at all of my favorites below.
