Taking Steve and Ashton’s San Clemente engagement photos was quite a treat, as Steve is my brother and Ashton is my future sister-in-law! My brother has always been one of my favorite people on the planet. As his little sister, I am so glad that I can say Ashton has also joined the club! I love hanging out with the two of them, and Ashton has become a really great friend of mine. There’s not much more you can ask for as the little sister! When he told me he was going to propose, I was so excited! Ashton has the exact same sense of humor as our family, and she immediately fit in the day we met her. When he showed me the engagement ring, my jaw dropped, you’ll see! It’s absolutely stunning.
They wanted their engagement photos to be a mix of formal and casual. Which is perfect, my style is very much chic with an adventurous flair. I took them to one of my favorite trails in the area. There’s plenty of unique backdrops and room to explore. We started and ended at the lookout over the ocean and bluffs, and spent the rest of the time down at the secluded beach. Even though it was a rare gloomy day in socal, we had a lot of fun and the photos turned out beautiful! San Clemente has so many unique landscapes, and we really got to make the most of them for their session.
