Oahu Adventure Elopement | Brandi + Armondo
It’s pretty rare to have a true elopement these days. Don’t get me wrong, I love the modern day elopement and tiny wedding trend. But to get married in secret with an old fashioned elopement is pretty incredible! So I loved being part of Brandi and Armondo’s secret wedding!
Their actual vow exchange was done in private at their home in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. After saying “I do” in secret, they flew to Hawaii for their honeymoon. They wanted to announce their marriage with epic adventure photos in Hawaii, so I took them to my favorite place on the island! This is a quick but strenuous hike, and these adventurers did an awesome job.
This elopement is one of those that reminds me why I love elopement photography. These images are the only glimpse of the day they have to share with friends and family. Without guests will cell phones, these are the only images they have for their wedding. That’s some added pressure for me, sure. But the reward is so wonderful!
